The Fellowship Programme on Strengthening Constitutional Values has been implemented in a total of six districts of Western Maharashtra (Pune, Satara, Kolhapur, Sangli, Solapur, and Ahmednagar-Ahilyanagar). A total of 27 Constitutional Fellows participated in this programme. The duration of the Constitution Fellowship was from January 2022 to November 2025. Second batch of the Constitution fellowship has been extended in the Konkan region—Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri and Raigad—with a total of 60 fellows across the Konkan region and western Maharashtra.  Through intensive training, mentorship, and field engagement, Fellows develop the skills to mobilise communities, facilitate dialogue, and address local issues through a constitutional lens.

The objective of the Fellowship Programme has been to strengthen the value system enshrined in the Indian Constitution, and to identify ways and methodologies for these values and rights to take root in every individual, group/organisation, and society as entitlements for everyone. The Fellows work to understand the issues faced by subordinated communities at the grassroots level, raise awareness about constitutional rights and entitlements, and build collectives and leadership from within marginalised communities to promote awareness of constitutional values.
